"It is vitally important that our Youth Ministry see the importance of seeing teens know Christ and mature in their faith and not allow their teen years to waste away. The battle teens face each day is no game and we must not view those whom Christ purchased with His blood simply as “objects of entertainment.”  That is why the Youth Ministry at SMBC has as its main goal coming alongside parents as they “train up” their teens to know Christ and to make Him known.  The gospel, as well as the sufficiency and preeminence of Christ, are the focus in our Youth Ministry. The Word of God is our authority and relationship-building with the purpose of being more Christ-like is a priority. What a privilege and honor it is to lead and serve the families at SMBC. May Christ be glorified as we enjoy one another and become more like Him!"     

• Sunday School: We offer three Sunday school classes in our youth ministry. The high school (9-12th grades) is combined and the middle school (6-8th grades) is divided into boy's and girl's classes. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other students and learn truths from scripture to apply in your daily life. Sunday School meets at 9:45. 

• Growth Groups: The youth ministry meets each Sunday night from 6:00 to 7:30pm during the school year for teaching from God’s Word, worship through singing and a great time of fellowship. The whole youth ministry grades 6-12 meets together for Growth Groups.

• Activities: All our activities are designed for the purpose of strengthening relationships within the youth ministry, serving others and having a great time together. Click here for a schedule of our 2008 activities.
