Men's Ministries

Men's ministry at Signal Mountain Bible Church is all about building open, honest, accountable relationships between Christian men. We do that by encouraging men to meet together to pray and study God's Word, and to come together as the men of the church regularly for just that purpose.

The goal of this ministry is to help men sharpen and strengthen one another (Proverbs 27:17). We are called into fellowship and accountability, let us respond to that call by encouraging and building up one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11). The opportunities below will help us do that.

Men's Prayer Breakfasts: Quarterly, all the men of the church, high school age and up, meet at the church for a good breakfast, fellowship, and prayer together. Each breakfast features a topic central to men’s ministry and time for prayer. Breakfasts start at 7:30 and end at 9:00. Breakfast dates for 2010 are February 7, May 8, August 7, and November 6.

Men’s Retreat: We get together for a weekend of mutual encouragement and fellowship in God's word together in April. Our April 23-25, 2010 retreat at Fort Bluff was outstanding! We hope you'll join us next year.

Men’s Activities: We usually do some manly stuff like shooting skeet and cheering on the Lookouts.

Men's Late Night Bible Study: Meeting at 517-SUBS on Signal Mountain Tuesdays at 9:15pm. Call Paul Dabney with questions, 886-6504.

Men's Sunday School Class: Currently we offer a Sunday morning class just for men.
